History

Established since 1993, ITR Australia have been servicing the information systems needs of our clients from various industries including manufacturing, mining, accountancy, retail and transport.

Founded by Richard Magalad, former staff member of State Bank Victoria (Commonwealth Bank) Information Systems Department where he worked various departments in foreign exchange, treasury, retail branches and credit cards, which provided an extensive understanding on how technology is used for different environments, then in a dual-position in an accountancy firm as the Systems Administrator and as an accountant.

After several years in this role he moved to service to the wider SME market, hence the start of ITR Australia.
Over a decade has passed and we have progressed in other verticals as we continue to offer best practices services often only founded in the enterprise market.

What we do

Located in Port Melbourne, we offer a personalised service for small to large organisations, hardware and software sales, disaster preventative and redundancy solutions, and cyber security advisory.

Additionally, our skills and expertise are also often applied outside the direct services we provide to our clients – for example, we have developed mentoring program that equips new entrances into the industry.

We are also very active within the Australian tech industry volunteering to the Australian Computer Society (ACS), Australian Information Security Association (AISA) and the Melbourne chapter of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
